Diploma of Applied Commerce

• Apply a broad knowledge of financial process, business concepts, industry practice and legal and regulatory requirements to specific situations

• Review, analyse and consolidate financial information, resolve simple financial problems and give advice to businesses and clients

• Act with integrity through the application of sustainable, social and ethical practices to achieve the best outcomes for clients and stakeholders

• Communicate effectively using a range of written, oral and visual communication techniques

• Graduate with a Higher Education Diploma of Applied Commerce

• Direct entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Applied Commerce

• Practical skills in accounting, financial planning, finance, management and marketing

• Experience in using accounting and financial planning software

You must demonstrate that you have achieved one of the following:

• A NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent or

• A Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation or its equivalent or

• A completed certificate IV or higher vocational qualification

You must also:

• Attend a pre-admission interview where you may also be asked to complete a short literacy and numeracy task - this helps us to understand how we can support your study success and provide you with any necessary support

Note:

• Your certificates, transcripts and other entry requirement evidence must be certified through a Justice of the Peace or other authorising officer

• Please ensure to attach all evidence when applying for this course to demonstrate the minimum entry requirements and for ease of the enrolment process.
