    To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

    • Basic experience in using computers, PC or Mac, and working with simple software applications

    • An interest in music technology

    • Access to a personal computer, software like Microsoft Office and the internet, as some elements of this course are delivered online. This may be available at a campus library

    • Availability to attend rehearsals, functions, and live performances outside of class hours, including evenings and potentially on weekends

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Music (Sound Production) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 11 units of competency, including 3 core and 8 speciality units.
