Talented Photo Imaging students from Mudgee TAFE are exhibiting their work in a local bakery.
The exhibition, titled On the Rise, features work from part-time students who have honed their skills after just six classes.
"To have a show of this calibre after only six classes is a credit to them," Jude Morrell, photography teacher told the Mudgee Guardian & Gulgong Advertiser. "And to be able to display the photographs in such a great location is fabulous."
Ms Morrell added that many local award-winning photographers have learned their skills at TAFE Western, so this exhibition will help to cement that reputation.
The exhibition was the brainchild of Mudgee student and passionate shutterbug Paula Hanson, who helped inspire other passionate shutterbugs to enroll in the TAFE classes.
"We have students travelling from as far away as Condobolin and Dubbo," she said. "It has been a very supportive and creative group."The students' photographs will be on display at the Mudgee Bakery & Café for the next couple of weeks.
