The scholarships aim to increase the number of students studying the HLT54115 Diploma of Nursing in order to support growing workforce demand by industry.

The partnership between TAFE NSW Institutes and Local Health Districts ensure that the student is provided with an excellent educational experience supported by clinical placements within the NSW Health system.

There will be approximately 198 scholarships available in a large number of TAFE campuses across NSW. We wish to encourage all eligible students to apply for this great opportunity.

Scholarships will cover the Diploma program fees and compulsory learning resources.

Applications close on 4th February 2015. Announcement of successful applicants is expected by April with enrollment immediately after.

The course duration is up to 18 months. Students who have successfully completed the course and have registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia will be offered an interview within NSW Health.
