TAFE NSW to University
Did you know that we offer over 2,000 pathways from vocational courses, right through to degree courses available to study at TAFE NSW and at participating universities? And if you complete the Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation (10767NAT) or the Higher School Certificate at TAFE NSW, you can apply for entry to universities in NSW, ACT, and throughout Australia.

Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TPC)
TAFE NSW has a great track record with students who have studied the Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation (10224NAT).
TAFE Statement in HSC Studies
The TAFE Statement in HSC Studies allows you to study all, or part, of the NSW Higher School Certificate with TAFE NSW. There are a broad range of general education and vocational HSC courses to choose from, with your study program dependent on your previous experience and the amount of time you can dedicate to learning.
Successful completion of the TAFE Statement in HSC Studies will award you with the HSC and an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) for entry into most undergraduate university programs throughout Australia.

How the enrolment process works
Enrolling with TAFE NSW is simple. The exact process depends on your course and any prerequisites that go with it. Follow the steps below to help start the enrolment process:
- Find a course
- Find a location – on campus, or online
- Determine your study mode – full time or part-time
- Assess your eligibility to study a course and if you meet the entry requirements
- Consider recognition of prior learning and credit transfer
- Review course fees, payment and funding option and scholarship opportunities
- Register and obtain your Unique Student Identifier
