This course covers all the topics of HSC extension 2 Mathematics including Calculus a, Circles and Logarithmic functions.
During this course you'll learn to:
Apply higher mathematics concepts necessary for science, maths and engineering university courses
Determine motion from scratch using calculus
Solve complex trigonometric equations using complex numbers
Formulate rigorous mathematical proof
Use vectors in 3D to trace out curves and lines
Determine force loading in beams and wave equations
You'll leave this course with:
Two units of mathematics to contribute to your Higher School Certificate (HSC)
Pathways to further study through a degree in medicine, mathematics, science or engineering
Experience in an adult learning environment and academic skills to prepare you for university
Prepare for an assessment or further study
Some courses require evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol
Current enrolment in, or successful completion of the HSC extension 1 mathematics as evidenced by your HSC transcript or certificate
