    Your preparation checklist

    Student Visa application

    You need a student visa to study in Australia. You apply through the Department of Home Affairs (DoHA). This process can take up to 6 months.

    Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

    Health insurance, called Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is compulsory for international students studying in Australia.

    There are many accommodation options, depending on your location and your age. There are different requirements if you are under the age of 18.
