    Choosing to study a bachelor's degree at TAFE NSW offers many advantages. You’ll receive a tertiary qualification from a recognised institution with a reputation for quality and excellence, plus more affordable tuition fees compared to universities in Australia and other countries.

    TAFE NSW university pathways

    TAFE NSW has credit transfer agreements with a number of Australian universities. This means these universities will recognise your previous studies at TAFE NSW. These partner universities offer guaranteed entry with credit transfer for eligible students. How much credit you are eligible for varies depending on your course, chosen institution and the grades achieved. 

    Take advantage of lower TAFE NSW semester tuition fees by completing the initial part of your studies with us. You'll learn high-level academic and applied practical skills. You'll also graduate with job-ready knowledge valued by future employers and you’ll graduate with a TAFE NSW diploma and a bachelor’s degree.

    Apply for a TAFE NSW to University Pathway Program

    Select the ‘TAFE NSW to University Pathway Programs’ option and follow the steps. 

    Articulation and credit transfer to a degree at another university

    For other universities and in most study areas, TAFE NSW diplomas and advanced diplomas can help you gain entry and give you up to 1-2 years credit towards your degree. Your university of choice must be part of the TAFE NSW to University Pathway Programs, for your course credit to guarantee you a place at the university.
