    TAFE NSW collaborates with a wide network of international education and industry partners. With these partnerships we deliver industry-specific training and strategic educational pathways and can tailor programs to your organisation.

    Partnering with TAFE NSW International

    Our Global Engagement partnerships span countries all over the world and include onshore and offshore delivery. Our training provides your students or employees with industry-relevant skills across a variety of industries, including:

    • marketing
    • logistics
    • business and management
    • accounting
    • hospitality
    • commercial cookery
    • information technology (IT), and
    • human resources (HR).

    Dongguan Polytechnic, China

    In 2024, TAFE NSW partnered with Dongguan Polytechnic in China. This partnership enables both institutions to co-deliver the TAFE NSW Diploma of Accounting.

    This provides an opportunity for Dongguan Polytechnic to offer their students access to a TAFE NSW industry-led education and an international experience.

    Fiji National University, Fiji

    TAFE NSW has partnered with Fiji National University since 1998 delivering TAFE NSW qualifications.

    This partnership has allowed Fiji National University to provide cost-effective access to Australian qualifications to more than 7,000 students, contributing to a highly skilled Fijian workforce.

    Groworx, Philippines

    TAFE NSW partners with Groworx in the Philippines, an organisation that trains aged-care, disability and healthcare workers.

    Our partnership with Groworx focuses on training and upskilling students to address the critical shortage of workers in this sector, and helps prepare them for work in Regional NSW.

    Global Academy of Tourism & Hospitality Education (GATE), Nepal

    Our partnership with GATE in Nepal enables students to receive recognition of prior learning for their studies towards a TAFE NSW Certificate III in Commercial Cookery course.

    Since the start of this partnership, over 70 students have graduated from this course with an Australian qualification without leaving their home country.

    Guangdong Mechanical and Electrical College (GMEC), China

    Guangdong Mechanical and Electrical College (GMEC) is a higher education vocational college. With tourism continuing to be a growing and thriving industry, this partnership with TAFE NSW enables GMEC to offer the Diploma of Travel and Tourism Management (SIT50121).

    INTI International College, Malaysia

    TAFE NSW has partnered with INTI International College in Penang for more than 15 years. This partnership gives Malaysian students an Australian recognised Advanced Diploma of Accounting qualification, with a pathway to higher education in Australia.

    This qualification is delivered to students through customised resources, via TAFE Digital, with our teachers regularly visiting Penang.

    Ningbo City College of Vocational Technology | Ningbo Foreign Affairs School, China

    TAFE NSW has had partnerships with Ningbo City College of Vocational Technology (NCC) and Ningbo Foreign Affairs School (NBFAS) since 2011.

    These partnerships allow students to study English with the aim of gaining entry to a TAFE NSW advanced diploma joint vocational program. This may provide students with a pathway to an Australian TAFE NSW partner university with credit transfer.

    These partnerships also provide professional development and teacher exchange opportunities.

    Shanghai Open University | AXGZ International Education, China

    TAFE NSW’s partnership with Shanghai Open University began in 2023. Through AXGZ International Education, this partnership delivers customised training programs in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC). It also facilitated the establishment of ECEC industry standards in Shanghai.

    This partnership delivers face-to-face skills-gap training to professionals, conducted by TAFE NSW educators. The training is adapted to suit the local context in collaboration with local teachers in Shanghai.

    Shunde Polytechnic (SP), China

    TAFE NSW, in partnership with Shunde Polytechnic (SP) in Guandong, offers a wide range of industry-relevant programs in new technologies.

    These include:

    • Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication (BSB40820); and
    • Diploma of Marketing and Communication (BSB50620)

    Graduates of these programs receive an Australian-recognised TAFE NSW qualification.

    King’s Cornerstone International College (KCIC), India

    TAFE NSW has recently partnered with KCIC in India to deliver the Diploma of Hospitality Management. This partnership allows Indian students to gain an Australian qualification while studying locally.

    There is also a pathway for students to come to Australia, receiving one year of credit towards the TAFE NSW Bachelor of Business (specialising in Hospitality and Hotel Management).
