    OverviewAbout this course

    The Diploma of Information Technology (Advanced Networking & Cloud Architecture) equips you with the practical skills and knowledge in two emerging areas of IT. This course aims to help you take your career to the next level in more senior network technician roles.

    In this exciting course you will put your skills into practice in our virtual lab environments. You will also use industry standard technology to give you the skills and prepare you to work in the IT industry. You will design and develop network architecture, install, and configure advanced routers and switches and configure advanced virtual computing environments. You will also learn to build advanced cloud architecture applications.

    Our experienced teaching staff will help you graduate with the technical skills that are directly relevant to industry.

    Additional costs

    Additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials (if applicable) range from $300 - $1,000 AUD per course.

    Structure and unitsWhat you will study

    At the start of your course, you will receive your timetable. You will need to study all core units and a range of additional units.


    6 core units plus 14 elective units, of which: at least 10 units must be selected from the elective units listed below up to 4 units may be selected from the remaining listed elective units or from this or any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course

    You may gain entry to another university using your TAFE NSW qualifications. Acceptance and the amount of credit transfer may vary depending on the university and course studies. Check your credit eligibility.
