- Year 12 or equivalent
- Academic IELTS 6.0 (with no individual band less than 5.5) or equivalent
- Only TAFE NSW Ultimo will offer a package of Certificate IV in Business, Diploma of Business and Bachelor of Business with direct credits.
To be prepared for this course, it is recommended that you have:
- Confidence in creating and managing multiple files across the Microsoft Office suite, such as compiling information using Excel spreadsheets and Word documents
- Keyboard skills
- Time management and organisational skills

Structure and unitsWhat you will study
At the start of your course, you will receive your timetable. You will need to study all core units and a range of additional units.
6 core units plus 6 elective units, of which: 2 elective units must be selected from Group A for the remaining 4 elective units:up to 4 units may be selected from Groups A – J If not listed, up to 2 units may be selected from a Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma from this or any other currently endorsed Training Package qualification or accredited course.

If you apply for a package of Certificate IV Business, Diploma of Business and Bachelor of Business, then due to credits the Bachelor of Business duration will be reduced by 1 Year. (Package Duration: 3 Year)
You are able to package two or more TAFE NSW courses together. This means you can plan your studies to achieve your career goals. When you apply for a TAFE NSW vocational pathway, you can apply for a Student Visa that will cover the duration of your study.
