    Entry requirements

    This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol

    • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the supply chain or logistics industry as evidenced by your resume or a letter from your employer

    • Or,

    • Successful completion of a certificate IV or higher in supply chain operations, international freight forwarding or procurement and contracting as evidenced by a copy of your transcript or certificate

    • Please note: if you have completed a certificate IV or higher in a related discipline not listed above, you may still be eligible to apply. You may contact your head teacher to discuss your experience.

    Entry recommendations

    To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

    • A keen interest in supply chain management

    • Sound leadership skills

    • Effective communication and problem-solving skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

    • Confident in making judgements and decisions

    UnitsUnits taught in this course

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Logistics qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 15 units of competency, including 2 core and 13 speciality units.

    Please note, not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. It is highly recommended that you check with your preferred campus for information about the specialty units offered at that location.
